Neighbor Fund
Jesus states in Matthew 22:39 that:
“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (KJV)
The Love Thy Neighbor Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization which hopes to live out this key biblical teaching. Primarily focused on Craig County (Virginia), the Love Thy Neighbor Fund will be involved in direct contributions in various forms, community beautification projects, and facilitating biblically rooted financial peace classes.
Goals
The Love Thy Neighbor Fund has established three ways that we would like to improve the lives of families within our community.
Reduce the Impacts of Poverty
Providing critical resources and care when families are at their breaking point through networking with churches in our community and direct giving.
Make Generational Change
Much charitable giving stops short of helping families develop strategies to overcome the struggles they face. We’ll facilitate biblically based financial peace classes in an effort to promote generational change.
Increase Community Pride
Develop and help maintain high quality public spaces which point to the rich history of our community while reducing the economic burden on taxpayers.
